8. Applications Management

Menu path: APPS ID

Purpose: This module allows the user to connect your apps directly with Unifonic Communication Cloud using REST and SMPP API. Where you can integrate your apps to send text messages around the world. And also inquire meta-data about your account, text messages, and usage.

The administrator may filter the display of all defined applications added to the system by using the Filter function; on top of the left corner. As seen in (Figure 8-2), click the Filter function and pick the type of application you would like to display from the list. Click Enter to display and view the type of applications you have just filtered.

To start adding and defining new APPS ID, click New and you will get a new Application (Figure 8-3) where you can enter the required information (any field with *) for the user

HTTP API

Select the API Type from the picklist based on your business Need (HTTP or SMPP). By default, the system displays the HTTP type. Enter the APP Name and Description. Select the Default Sender Name from the picklist. Click Save & Close to complete the definition of the new APP. To cancel the operation and go back to the default page, click Cancel.

After creation; the defined new App will be displayed along with it Appsid. You will be able to edit or delete the App info You can edit or delete the App by clicking the checkbox beside the desired application and click Edit or Delete (Figure 8-4)

Edit HTTP Application (Figure 8-4). The user can edit the app information, view Apps id and regenerate the Appsid by clicking the Regenerate ID link.


SMPP API

Select the API Type from the picklist based on your business Need (HTTP or SMPP). (Figure 8-5)

Enter the APP Name and Description. Select the Default Sender Name from the picklist. Select the Bind Type from the picklist Click Save & Close to complete the definition of the new APP. To cancel the operation and go back to the default page, click Cancel.

After creation; the defined new App will be displayed along with it system ID. You will be able to edit or delete the App info You can edit or delete the App by clicking the checkbox beside the desired application and click Edit or Delete (Figure 8-6)

Edit SMPP Application (Figure 8-6). The user can edit the app information, view System ID, Host, Port, and Password.
